The game features a power meter of sorts, called the D-gauge, when the D-gauge is filled, the player can do a Burst special, which works like the Distortion Drives in BlazBlue. The game features a unique button system, with four buttons, three of them are basic attacks (weak, normal, strong) while the fourth button, the special button, allows the player to do a special attack dedicated to the character, just like how the Drive works in BlazBlue.
